1. Who we are
Six Degrees Football (“we”, “us”) publishes the Six Degrees Football mobile app, the web app at app.6degreesfootball.com and the website 6degreesfootball.com (together, the “Service”). We are the data controller for the personal data described below. You can reach us at contact@6degreesfootball.com.
2. What we collect

You can also play as a guest: an anonymous account is created on your device, without an email address.
We don’t use advertising, ad trackers or cross-app tracking, and we don’t collect your location, contacts or photos.
3. Why we use it
- To provide the game (performance of our contract with you): creating your account, saving your progress, friends, challenges and rankings, and showing your username and scores to other players.
- To manage Premium (contract): checking whether your subscription is active.
- To send account emails (contract): confirmation, sign-in links and password resets. We don’t send marketing emails without your consent.
- To keep the game fair and secure (our legitimate interest): detecting cheating, abuse and technical issues.
- To send push notifications (your consent): for example when a friend challenges you. You can turn them off at any time in your device settings.
4. Who we share it with
Your username, badges, Premium crown and scores are visible to your friends and, for rankings, to other players. Your email address is never shown to other players.
We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract:
- Supabase: database and authentication.
- Netlify: website and web app hosting.
- Resend: sending account emails.
- Cloudflare: domain name and email forwarding.
- Apple and Google: in-app purchases, and push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging) if enabled.
- RevenueCat: managing subscription status across devices.
- Google Fonts: the website loads its fonts from Google, which receives your IP address.
Some of these providers are located outside the European Economic Area, notably in the United States. In that case, transfers are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
We never sell your personal data. We may disclose it if required by law.
5. How long we keep it
- Account, profile, game activity and friends: as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, they are deleted within 30 days.
- Guest accounts: we may delete guest accounts after 12 months without activity.
- Support emails: up to 3 years after our last exchange.
- Technical logs: a few weeks, according to our providers’ standard retention.
The app and website also store a few preferences on your device (language, tutorial seen, sign-in session). These are needed for the Service to work and are deleted when you sign out or clear your browser data.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws, you can access your data, correct it, delete it, receive a copy of it, object to or restrict certain uses, and withdraw your consent at any time. You can change your username and language directly in the app.
To delete your account or exercise any of these rights, email support@6degreesfootball.com from the email address linked to your account. We reply within one month.
If you think we haven’t handled your data properly, you can complain to your data protection authority. In France, that is the CNIL (cnil.fr).
7. Children
The Service is intended for people aged 13 and over (or the minimum age in your country). We don’t knowingly collect data from younger children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy, for example when we add a feature. We will change the date above and, for important changes, let you know in the app.
